Where can I learn even more about the internet?
You can buy all the books you want about the internet (and I'd probably be lost without mine) but the best place to learn about the internet is on the internet. In the process of creating the Internet Playpen, I found many other other sites which you might find helpful and will build upon the concepts I've already flung your way.
Danny's Newbie Page is friendly and covers a few things I haven't. Like how you're going to unzip all that stuff you just downloaded and how to keep your machine free from viruses.
Global Village's Internet Tour is adorable and they assure visitors that since there are no external links on their site (unlike mine and Danny's), you "can't get lost".
The Internet Information Center is my personal favorite internet info site. It has valuable stuff for rookie and veteran alike.
